103 Offerings is made from 103 separate embroideries, produced daily and later brought together as a single piece.
Each section carries the mood of the day it was stitched. The tension shifts from one passing feeling to another. Some days the thread is pulled taut and steady, other days it loosens or wanders. The surface keeps these differences rather than smoothing them out.
What appears unified is built from fluctuation and accumulated time. It is less a picture than a record of time.
